Okay, Big update. HUGE even. I have been selling cars for the past 12 years and have left that profession today. I have been looking for new employment to accomodate my Karate training for the past three months. I am happy to say that it has paid off. No longer will i be able to only make one and a half classes a week. I will be able to make both full classes. I also have the honor of having Saturday and Sunday off now too. I look forward to seeing you all at summer camp and continuing in my career in the martial arts.

Hello,
My name is Mark Benincosa. I train under Lonnie Sprouse in Clarksburg, WV. I am a 2nd brown as of 11/21/06. I attended the 2005 AKS Summer Camp, and hope to get time off to attend the 2007 Summer Camp as well. I missed the last one due to work obligations, so hopefully a few of us from Clarksburg can make it out to learn and train.

You gus know if you have any question of use old guys - those who've been around the AKS since dirt was discovered - are welcome to ask. We want you to feel comfortable in learning about the senior members of the organization, while you learn and grow in our style.
Keep up the good work guys.

Hi to All,
I'm pleased to see more of you are getting involved with the AKS BBoard. This is a key means for AKS members of all ranks to get to know each other. We should all thank Dave Thomas Jr. for his inspiration and hard work in developing and keeping the BBoard up and running. I look forward to seeing everyone at the summer camp.

Hey everybody
Somebody from the Mona Shores Club please, please tell me what we've been doing in class. I haven't been able to make it for weeks and I'm dying to know what's been happening. I'm hoping to get to a class next week, but it all depends on softball. It's been taking up all my free time, well that and the loads of homework. Oh yeah, we had our first game the 29th. Spring Lake 19, Grand Haven 1. Anyway, somebody catch me up.

Hi Randi,
Lately we have been working forms and self-defense alot. We are also getting the students ready for the tournament in Whitehall on May 5. I am expecting a good turn-out from our class. We all miss you and Karlye, and look forward to you and her coming back to class as soon as you can.

Hello Randi Tonight was primarily work on basics and forms. I think the plan is for that to continue as well as some sparring drills in the near future. Not sure of the sparring drills but I suspect they will do some of that in preparation for the tournament. I'll be missing from class for the next couple of weeks due to work.
