To those that read our newsletter, the AKS Punchline, I thought this may be an appropriate venue for commenting on articles and stories. There is a lot of excellent information and interesting articles submitted in our quarterly newletter, and some of our students and instructors may choose to further inquire or expound on a given subject. In the latest edition our Chief Instructor is previewing some of the subjects to be discussed at our 2007 Summer Camp. The decisions made there will dictate the future of the AKS. Here is an opportunity of all members of The American Karate System to share their opinions and thougts on these proposed changes. The American Karate System has always prided itself in allowing all students, regardless of rank to have their opinions given a fair hearing. Here is your opportunity to share in the future of the AKS.

Dear AKS members,
Mr. Thomas makes an excellent suggestion. This is a great forum for talking about ideas and/or directions for the AKS. It is the responsibility of the senior leadership to make the choices about what changes will take place in the future, but it should be based on your input as member and students of the AKS. We really do want to know how you feel about things. Don't remain quite if there's something you feel passionate about. If you have a suggestion please put it on the table so we can all consider it.
I look forward to everyone's opinions and suggestions regarding the future of the AKS.
