I would like to take this opportunity to thank Mr. Bob Essenberg, AKS 3rd Dan, for the seminar he held this past weekend. Bob is a counselor at a camp for visually impaired children in Kent County. He took time to teach a group of about 15 children some basic karate techniques and self-defense. Teaching someone that can not see what or how you execute skills is challenging. Bob has taught a number of seminars in the past and he is especially qualified to work with this group. Bob is visually impaired himself and knows all too well how the visually impaired are often the victims of harassment and crime. Thank you Bob. Your dedication and service is appreciated by all your fellow AKS Black Belts. You honor all of us with your efforts.
Dave Thomas AKS 7th Dan
