It is good to hear that plans have already begun in planning of our summer camp for this year. Hopefully it will go even better than the year before.

Hello everyone. As one of the moderators of this board I thought it time to post here. Based on some of the other messages I've read in other forums, as well as the one reply here, it appears that due to costs, the germans will probably not be able to make it this year. This is a shame but I can totally relate given that those same reasons have prevented me from attending the seminars in Germany the last two years. That said, I hope that all of us here in the States will do what we can to attend. I know that gas prices are going up and will probably be higher by this summer, but I would encourage everyone to start planning now so as to be able to attend. Also, Summer Camp is NOT just for the high ranks. Students of all ranks, from white to black belt will gain from being there. Therefore, I want to encourage all of you to do what you can to make it to Summer camp this year. Ray

The first summer camp I attended was back in 2000 which I also believe that it was the first time that we had our German members. They have been at every one of the Summer Camps I have attended since then. It feels a little different hearing that all of you will be unable to join us. But I guess that gives us a better motivation to get people over to Germany in September and the US for Summer Camp 2005. Plus most of all the after parties are so much fun. lol

Yeah with the added security and all that the prices will be up for a while. If we can get enough people interested and able to go over to Germany that will be a good time, right.
